  • All details about

The word ''about'' in speed and consumption refers to an allowance of minus 0.5 knots on speed and plus 5% of bunker consumption respectively both in owners favor.

  • IFO to comply with ISO 8217/2010 RMG 380 specification but with maximum sulphur content as per MARPOL ANNEX VI Reg. 14 of 0.5% MM, expect if otherwise is required by local or international regulations.
  • Speed / Cons are effective for voyages exceeding 48 hours transit time from sea pilot to sea pilot.
  • Given in good faith basis good weather and basis smooth sea. Good weather conditions are understood to mean wind speed of Beaufort force 4 (Max 16 Knots), Douglas Sea State 3 and total combined significant wave height 1.50 meter maximum with no adverse currents and negative influence of swell.
  • Performance will be calculated only during good weather whole days as above described and no extrapolation for the entire voyage is allowed.
  • Good weather day is the period of 24 consecutive hours where all above parameters are been met.
  • For performance evaluation purposes, the overall performance of the vessel is to be reviewed on all laden and ballast passages during the currency of the C/P
  • Any gain on time and/or consumption to be off-set against loss on time and/or consumption if any.
  • No favourable weather and current factor to be applied when evaluating vessel's performance .
  • Vessel shall have the liberty of burn Diesel Oil, Gas Oil and/or extra Very Low Sulphur Fuel Oil whilst entering and leaving port , maneuvering or steaming in confined or restricted/shallow water, poor visibility, heavy traffic , working with low load, transiting canals, ballasting and de-ballasting, exchange ballast , shift of generator engine, cleaning holds, heating bunker tanks on cold climate.
  • In the event of dispute over the apparent breach of the speed and consumption warranty in this Charter party, then Owners deck and engine log books to be supplied to the weather routine company to re-evaluate the calculation
  • The results of the calculation to be binding on both parties provided it is performed as per C/P and vessel’s description
  • Consumption not include mechanical ventilation.
